Det enda trevliga med denna upplevelse var boendet, det var fint, dock ganska unsanitary och stökigt. The host var en märklig kvinna med häftigt humör, och hon såg ner på oss från början. Vi är missnöjda med vistelsen då hon rasade på oss blint utan att försöka förstå vårt perspektiv. Och med tanke på det höga priset så förväntade vi oss en högre standard. Hon glömde även att nämna ett flertal defekter i hemmet.

We enjoyed our five night stay at this property. There is a lovely view from the balcony of Mt Blanc. We enjoyed the convenient location. The walk to the center of Chamonix is 10 minutes or less depending upon your gait. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped for breakfast or an evening meal. In addition, there are appropriate wine glasses based on the type of wine that you may enjoy. We found the flat to be in good order and well maintained. The four person sauna after a day of trekking was a welcome feature in the late afternoon. The only quirk was that you must go to the store and purchase toilet paper as the flat does not come with any additional supply. We inquired if there were any additional roles and the owner responded that we would need to purchase at the store as the flat does not supply any additional. When we arrived the roles in each WC were @ 1/2 or less. Certainly not a dealbreaker for staying here. However, we found this to be a departure from the norm as it is usually customary for most vacation flats to supply the bare essentials. We would have rated it 5 star except for this quirk.

A lovely apartment with high ceilings, good kitchen utensils and very well located. The main host, Hostenga was completely unreachable and unresponsive while we were trying to book the property- the co-host was excellent once we had booked. Unfortunately the host does not provide adequate basics like toilet paper, hand wash or shower gel. Which was very disappointing for the high price charged for the apartment- shame, as the small things matter.

I was frustrated trying to pay. After payment I received threatening emails that said they would keep my money and I could not stay there. I spoke with very friendly associates of the management company and they said not to worry. That last thing I need on an international trip is to be threatened after I spent 6 hours trying to pay the deposit. The place was great but I will never use hosetenga again because of these problems.

Lovely apartment, terrible property management company.
Positive: Morana is a very helpful host and made the process very easy for check-in. The apartment itself is fantastic, nicely sized and there were 8 men so that takes some doing! The sauna and the kitchen area are really comfortable and well appointed, everything you need to make your breakfast and some lunches. Beds were comfy - only one working shower which was unfortunate but this was explained before we checked-in. Negative: Hostenga are a terrible booking company, absolutely shocking. As the lead booker I received many misleading automated messages suggesting payments hadn't been made or were overdue. When it came to contacting Hostenga they were impossible to get hold of and you would only receive a further automated message with no regard to previous messages. For the final balance which I paid - I received multiple automated messages saying this hadn't been paid, which was incorrect. I emailed, sent messages via booking.com and left multiple voicemails and no one got in touch. Booking.com via Customer Services attempted to help and could not contact Hostenga either. Eventually I received a message from Morana (property host) saying even she couldn't get hold of the reservations team to allocate my payments. All was resolved, but this added a whole heap of stress to the booking prior to our arrival. If you check trustpilot you will find many similar reviews. Until I opened the door I had real fears I had been scammed and 8 of us would be out in the cold.

We loved our stay! The apartment was super comfortable and spacious for us, and perfect for a short trip to Chamonix. It is walkable to town and the lifts, and has many great amenities. The only thing that was a bit strange was a lack of any toilet paper upon arrival. A bit more strange is the lack of toilet paper holders as well throughout the entire apartment... We had to buy our own, which is not a big deal but not great if you don't know you need it. In general the apartment does not feel like it's a place that has been lived in much as there are other things that are a bit lacking (no bath soap holders in the showers, no pods for the coffee machine, etc.). Nothing terrible but just small inconveniences. All in all a lovely stay though!

Très agreable séjour à Chamonix. Logement très chouette, très cosy ! Seul bémol pour le menage du salon (tapis sale notamment), en revanche chambres et salles de bain très propres. Communication en amont avec Hostenga mauvaise. Une fois le bon contact trouvé, personne très gentille, reactive et arrangeante ! Merci encore !

Appartement idéalement situé à proximité à pied des commerces et restaurants, environnement paisible, conforme à la description et aux photos, idéal pour 8 personnes. Très belle pièce de vie, appartement très bien équipé. Accueil téléphonique Hostenga très peu réactif aux premiers contacts, pas de réponse à certains messages mais Morana, la city manager sur place est hyper réactive, très arrangeante, de bons conseils et a grandement contribué à la réussite de notre séjour. Je lui en suis vraiment reconnaissante. Je recommande vivement.

Notre séjour dans cet appartement spacieux a été exceptionnel. La vue sur le Mont-Blanc depuis les balcons est époustouflante. La déco alpine contemporaine crée une ambiance chaleureuse. La pièce de vie, la cuisine et les chambres avec lits queen size et salles de bains privées étaient parfaits. Les équipements tels que les téléviseurs, le Wi-Fi, le réfrigérateur, la plaque de cuisson, le lave-vaisselle, le lave-linge, la machine à café, le casier à skis et le sauna ont amélioré notre séjour. L'emplacement est idéal pour explorer Chamonix. Cet appartement a rendu notre séjour inoubliable. Recommandé pour les familles et les amis en quête d'un pied-à-terre confortable et élégant.

Over priced and the title “Luxurious” is misleading.
Positive: No breakfast but location is great. Negative: The glass door for one of the bathrooms was poorly installed and likely to fail if was opened to use the toilet rendering one of the toilets unusable. The managers require 600 EU damage deposit. Manager will not provide toilet paper, requires patrons to dispose of trash and would not allow us to store luggage on the property for 3 hours after the checkout time.

Nous avons passé week-end dans ce logement qui est idéalement positionné. Le logement correspondait au photo mais il ne faut pas être trop regardant sur la propreté. ( porte placard cuisine grasse et sale, sol pas fait..) Niveau communication avec l’hôte, le numéro indiqué n’est pas accessible et ils écrivent vraiment la veille du départ donc si on a des questions à poser avant on a pas la possibilité de les joindre. Mais par la suite, dès que nous avons eu le bon numéro pour les joindre, la communication était très bien. Nous restons satisfait de notre séjour.

This listing is located in a great area, very walkable to the town center, restaurants, & bars. It is important to note that it is on the 3rd floor of the cabin - luckily we have no issues with stairs but this may not be the case with others. The interior was same as pictures but basic necessities were missing - there were about 3 half used rolls of toilet paper, no paper towels/napkins, and no trash bags when we arrived. Bathrooms were missing fixtures & rolls were sitting on the ground. In addition, there were limits on hot water. We were 6 guests & we had to ration the amount of hot water we used for showers/baths throughout our stay so that everyone would have some. Finally, at checkout, a different person contacted me basically requesting that I pick up all of the linens, towels, and trash even though we paid a $216 cleaning fee when questioned, he threatened "consequences" via text. Cute place but not a luxury experience by any means.

In terms of apartments there are no complaints, but in terms of service and support, a terrible attitude. First of all, no one greeted us when we checked in, the apartment was very cold and it took us a long time to figure out how to turn on the heating, we contacted with our concierge via video call to get help, but all appliances and installations are in French and no one really speaks English. Secondly, on the first night, one of the bed legs was broken, it was already broken and the owner of the apartment tried to blame the damage on us, although we explained everything and sent proof that it was broken before us. We were told that no one could come and fix it and so we had to get out ourselves. They demanded money from us for the damage caused and airbnb support contacted us to resolve the issue and eventually sided with us. Host stopped responding to any of our messages and questions. We were simply ignored. So far, we have not received any messages or apologies. PAY ATTENTION!

Appartement magnifique très bien situé dans Chamonix. Tout est accessible à pied avec une vue magnifique. Seul bémol, les fenêtres étaient restées ouvertes avant notre arrivée et nous avons eu du mal à faire fonctionner le chauffage, le premier jour nous avons eu froid pendant quelques heures mais ça s’est vite résolu. Les équipements proposés tels que le café, le papier toilette etc n’était pas en nombre suffisant pour le nombre de personnes que nous étions et pour la durée du séjour. Sinon, on recommande fortement !

Positive: Bel et vaste appartement mêlant style moderne et montagnard. Couchages très bien pour 6 personnes dans 3 chambres. Le 4ème espace de couchage est dans une mezzanine accessible par échelle et sous un pan de toit très bas. Beaucoup d'espace de rangement, cuisine très bien équipée. Negative: Le ménage fait seulement en surface, pas du tout nettoyé dans les endroits non visibles. Il a fallu que je réclame le remboursement de la caution après 14 jours. Manque de signalétique et de pancartes d'explications dans l'appartement, surtout que l'on ne voit personne. Tout se fait via une boite à clef.

Beautiful Property with Mountain Views and an Exceptional Concierge
Positive: This is a beautiful property in a great location, central to everything, with stunning mountain views from the balconies. The property was very clean and the kitchen very well equipped. Getting the keys was very easy and the concierge for this property was outstanding, very quick to respond to inquiries and went above and beyond her duties to help me get the damage deposit refunded. Negative: It took almost 4 weeks and a lot of effort on my side to have the substantial damage deposit refunded even though we left the place in excellent condition. The deposit was paid to a property management company in the UK. Booking.com was not very helpful when the damage deposit refund was not forth coming.
