    L’appartement est confortable et très bien agencé, bien situé près de la Flégère et des navettes. Nous avons passe un bon séjour. En revanche, l’annonce indique un coût en euros, et finalement, il faut payer en livres britanniques, ce qui fait que cela coûte au final plus cher qu’annoncé.

    Positive: Free private parking, cleanliness, facilities - big screen TV, Wi-Fi, heating, kitchen with microwave, fridge, freezer, oven etc.; Chamonix center is near-by, accessible by road, close to Martigny (Suisse), a very nice creek passing near-by, but no noise, the apartment is well isolated.     The place is very well located, we went for a wedding close by and it was perfect. The place is exactly as the description. BUT I would have preferred to have more control over the heater as you can't control it, it has to be done remotely and we were freezing 🥶 which was not nice, they have to send a message to the owner. Additionally, I didn't like the fact that they ask you to take the trash outside and wash the cluttery/glasses (we only used 3 glasses to drink water) for what they charge you as 'Cleaning fee' which was a bit overpriced to my point of view. Everything else was just fine.

  39. clean warm place close to bus station and ski lift.

    Positive: close to Flegere lift, clean, warm, close to bus 1 and 2. Negative: away from city center and bus stop at 8pm and taxi is not easy to get. I also hope the owner offer soap shampoo laundry detergent toilet paper as a paid option so I don’t have to go to supermarket.

  53. Clean, chic apartment with reliable hosts. Located farther away than advertised, but close enough.

    Positive: The apartment was very clean and well-equipped, and the hosts were timely and diligent with their messages. Negative: The “most popular area of Chamonix” in the posting’s title is a bit misleading, as it is about a 2.5km walk from the centre of the village. That being said, it is a lovely walk through the forest with consistent mountain views, so I can’t complain.

    L'annonce indique 2 chambres quand celle avec les lits superposés ne fait même pas 4 m2 et ne comporte pas de fenêtre. En France, la réglementation oblige un minimum de 9 m2 avec une fenêtre. Le logement est situé à 8 min en voiture de Chamonix sans circulation.
