ANNECY est une ville très agréable à voir
Positive: bel appartement bien situé Negative: difficulté pour payer on ne sait pas si l transaction a fonctionné on nous réclame plusieurs fois la paiement suite a ce disfonctionnement, et surprise quelques jours avant on nous demande une caution de 400euros non prévue enfin tout c'est bien terminé avec quelques craintes quand même. Jusqu'à les réservations via booking étaient plus simples

Positive: We stayed in September 2023. During this period, the apartment was still very new, so it looked nice and everything was working (we didn't test the washing machine). Negative: So, the apartment itself was fine. The only negative points were the sewer smell and the small bed. We also had some problems with the airflow (we couldn't turn off the ventilation. When closing the windows, you create a lot of negative pressure and air will come from the hallway). But even if you don't mind this, we don't think it's worth it to rent through 'Hostenga'. Hostenga is actually just the system and will never respond to your questions. They'll keep spamming you that you didn't pay and that they will cancel your reservation (even after payment). Paying can't be done through booking, instead you need to use their link. This link looks shady, so we didn't trust it at first, but in the end it was ok. But that's not all.. We had a lot of troubles with our parking spot. Normally the parking spot was nr. 14. This was a closed spot that needed to be opened with a key. This key didn't work, so our contact called her organization to ask which was our parking spot. They said we could park on nr. 7. A day later we received a very angry letter of one of the residents that we parked on their spot. Then we called again our contact. She said they made a mistake and we need to park on spot 10. That day we received again an anger letter. This time it was placed in the elevator. That made it very public and we started to feel very unwelcome. After reading the letters, it felt like it was not the first time this happened. The days after we tried to use our car as much as possible to avoid angry residents. We asked the organization to contact the owner of the building or the residents to discuss this, but we don't think this ever happened.. At first, we were very naive and thought the person that helped us didn't know better, but after reading the other reviews We've a feeling they don't have a parking spot, or they are renting out their parking to someone else.

Positive: Appartement somptueux et lit très confortable… mais extrêmement sal remplis d’insectes, presque un mois pour se faire remboursés (même pas intégralement) et il a fallut harceler pour avoir gain de cause. Je ne recommande pas Negative: No comment

Positive: Very modern and had everything you needed Negative: There was a horrible smell the whole time we were there that would put us off going again if it’s not sorted.There is only one fan and the apartment was so hot as the weathers was lovely so extra fans or air con would be nice

Positive: Très bel appartement , spacieux et propre. Déco moderne , tout le nécessaire à disposition . Ascenseur et Parking en sous sol . Agathe très professionnelle pour nous accueillir , souriante et sympathique . Negative: Les échanges par mail avec le site de réservation très compliqués . Ayant réglée le solde dés la resa effectuée, on me demandait à nouveau de faire un règlement pour solder ! Puis , Caution réclamée plusieurs fois , sous menace d’annuler ma resa sans aucun remboursement ! alors qu’il était prévu que ce soit fait en espèces à notre arrivée , très pénible de rabâcher toujours la même chose . J’ai eu le Directeur au téléphone qui m’a ri au nez quand je lui ai fait part de mon « ras le bol » de recevoir ces mails de relance . Aucun professionnalisme à ce niveau. La Gestion des réservations est à revoir très sérieusement .

Charming stay, once administrative issues sorted out.
Positive: This was indeed a charming apartment, conveniently located but away from the bustle in the centre of town, reachable via a short walk. The kitchen was well equipped and the veranda was lovely to sit in (although the rug could do with changing or taken away as it had disintegrated). Negative: Although the person who let us in and liaised with us once checked in was most efficient, the correspondence beforehand was dire. We kept getting threatening emails asking us for payment but every time we queried something, our questions were never directly answered. It was only at the very end that we found out payment procedure was different from other Booking.com properties and needed to be done directly with another agency. The parking space allocated was also very tight - on the last day we met an irate lady who claimed that was her space. We left her to sort it out with the agency in the end.

Expérience décevante. Malgré les belles photos, le logement ne correspondait pas. En arrivant, il y avait des poils et cheveux sur le sol de la salle de bain et des miettes sur la table de la terrasse et le tapis du salon. Il y avait une housse de remplacement type drap housse sur le canapé, un abat-jour manquant sur la lumière de la chambre, et le tapis de la terrasse était largement troué à 2 endroits. Une odeur nauséabonde d'égouts venait de la salle de bain et pouvait se sentir dans l'entrée. Il y a un courant d'air permanent au niveau de la porte qui faisait un sifflement en continu lorsque les fenêtres sont fermées. Enfin, personne n'a su nous renseigner sur le bon emplacement de la place de parking (qui est d'ailleurs très petit et ne convient qu'aux citadines). Nous avons dû nous déplacer 2 fois suite à des demandes de résidents de l'immeuble et ce n'était jamais la bonne place malgré les indications de l'hôte. Nous avons fini par nous garer dans un parking payant à 500m

Positive: Mooi appartement, mooie keuken met apparatuur, goed sanitair, wasmachine en heerlijk terras aan de rustige kant van het gebouw en op de zonkant, parkeerplek in ondergrondse garage, fijn maar niet ruim Negative: We hebben gereserveerd, betaald met creditcard maar kregen steeds mails van hostenga dat er niet betaald was en dat de reservering geannuleerd zou worden, dat ondanks eerder bericht dat de betaling in orde was, dat gaf onduidelijkheid over de boeking. Hostenga gemaild maar ze reageerden niet, getracht te bellen maar kreeg geen contact. Heel vervelend! Toen we uiteindelijk contact hadden met onze host ( agathe; die zeer vriendelijk was en enthousiast) gaf zij aan dat dat standaardmails waren dus dat we ons geen zorgen hoefden te maken! Maar toch vervelend dat dit standaard verstuurd wordt en dat ze dan niet op mails reageren! Het appartement was heerlijk, loopafstand van het centrum, enige minpuntje was de harde matras, een topdek matras zou een oplossing kunnen zijn.

Comfortable quiet apartment in Annecy
Positive: Comfortable apartment, sunny balcony, kitchen has all that was required for 9 days stay, easy access, not in city centre however, we loved the area. It was quiet at night, which is the main thing. A short 15 minute walk into city. The contractors that look after the property in Annecy on behalf of HOSTENGA were fantastic. Would love to stay again without the pain of the booking agent. Negative: The company HOSTENGA that handled the booking payment on behalf of the owners were horrendous. Their link payment system did not work, they threatened me in emails with cancellation if I did not pay. I then sent copies of my payments to verify my payments. Their staff in Annecy were so helpful. Definitely not a reflection of HOSTENGA reservations in USA and financial department in UK. HOSTENGA did no service to the owners of this lovely home. The staff in Annecy did. HOSTENGA also wanted a $400 deposit in case of breakages, they redeemed themselves, when they reversed the payment back to me with a few days of leaving the property.

Lovely part of town to stay , about 10 mins to walk to the old town
Positive: Location was excellent for us , we wanted to be outside of the very centre and be able to park, and then walk into the centre. Apartment was bright and airy, and quiet. The host Roxanne, was helpful and gave tips on restaurants and things to do. Negative: There was a few hiccups with the parking, which was not the hosts fault, and she sorted out quickly. However I don't recommend a large car, as the parking garage is under ground and very tight spaces.

Un appartement très agréable et joliment décoré. Idéalement placé dans le centre ville tout en gardant des places de stationnement à quelques mètre du logement. Agathe nous a accueilli chaleureusement. Je vous recommande ce bel appartement !
